PE and Sport Premium 2025-2026

 

The Department for Education provides additional funding to improve the quality of PE, physical activity and sport in primary schools. Our PE and Sport Premium reporting return for 2025-2026 can be downloaded below.

 

During 2025-2026, funding was used to support high quality PE teaching, increase opportunities for physical activity and sporting participation, and provide access to competitions and extra-curricular activities. In our school, this has resulted in:

 

  • Increased participation for ALL pupils in a wide range of inclusive sporting activities within the curriculum and breaks/lunchtimes.
  • Continued professional development for staff.
  • Enhanced opportunities for competitive sport as part of our School Sports Partnership, in addition to inter-school competitions.
  • Opportunities for ALL pupils to engage in free, extra-curricular sporting activities.
  • Increased engagement in physical activity across the school.
